Rachel Carren, Archivist

Rachel is an art historian and artist devoted to the advancement of polymer art.  Earning a PhD in Art History from U of MD in 1990, she brings this training to her writing about polymer history.  As a polymer artist, Rachel’s distinctive art finds inspiration in textiles, geometry and patterning.  This unique blend of credentials enables her to see, create and write from both the academic and makers’ perspective.   Additional information about her background and work can be found at www.rachelcarren.com

Elise Winters, Archivist
